SPGA is a synthetic oil based grease, offering good low temperature performance and excellent compatibility with thermoplastics, including ABS and Polycarbonate, even at elevated temperatures. It has been formulated to a harder consistency (NLGI 3) than its predecessor SPG whilst additionally having a “tacky” adhesive characteristic which vastly improves its resistance to being squeezed out of the “contact zone”. This grease is an efficient mechanical lubricant for plastic-to-plastic and plastic-to-metal interfacing surfaces. It has an additional feature of having an extremely low tendency to bleed oil at elevated temperatures (up to 120°C) and consequently stays where it is applied: it is formulated with a UV dye to enable inspection of application.
