CO70 has been specifically designed as a lubricant to ensure a low and stable electrical contact resistance across mating metal surfaces, by reducing harmful arcing and increasing the effective surface area of the switch. Due to the outstanding nature of its mechanical and plastic compatibility properties it may also be used for plastic/plastic and plastic/metal interfaces; however testing is always advised in the specific application. CO70 is ideal for use on contacts with low contact pressures and in applications where it will not migrate, for example brushes, bearings, jack plugs, push button switches, relays etc. It is also suitable for lubricating slipring and slipdisc contacts.
