Permabond CA Solvent 2 is a blend of organic esters which can be used to remove cured cyanoacrylate adhesive from surfaces, clothing or to debond parts assembled with cyanoacrylate adhesives. It is non-flammable and non-hazardous.
- Applying CA Solvent 2 remover to cured cyanoacrylate adhesive will allow its removal in several minutes to several hours, depending upon the amount of adhesive.
- Thin layers of adhesive will wipe off with the remover soaked tissue or cloth.
- Thick beads or drops will take between 15 and 30 minutes and will require reapplication of solvent.
- Bonded parts may require several hours of soaking.
- This solvent can affect certain plastics, coatings and fabrics. It is recommended that all surfaces be tested for compatibility before use.
