Over the past few months the Dow Corning business was integrated into the broader structure of the Dow Chemical Company. They introduced DOWSIL™, a new product brand. Since then, Dow’s merger with DuPont was completed, and additional details were announced.
Branding changes take effect in November for customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The majority of Molykote® brand products will
not experience product brand changes at this time.
Dow Corning® brand lubricants will transition to Molykote® or DOWSIL™ brands, depending
on application.
For you this meens, that only the name of some product has changed, for example:
DOW CORNING(R) 732
ADHESIVE SEALANT => DOWSIL(TM) 732
Multi-Purpose Sealant
The
nomenclature for the Sylgard product family remains unchanged: SYLGARD(R) 567 PRIMERLESS SILICONE ENCAPSULANT KIT => SYLGARD(TM) 567 Primerless Silicone Encapsulant Kit
